Hey guys, my name is Matthew Cristini. It wasn't too long ago that I started doing this home based business (about four years ago, but considering how fast time seems to fly, I'll just stick with "not too long ago"), but regardless, I would like to give you a bit of a background into how I got started with this business.
It was more than four years ago that I used to work for a warehouse. I would be, essentially, loading trucks with inventory so that they could go and ship it to wherever it needed to be shipped. It was a pretty intense job, and not exactly my "cup of tea." But still, I like to try and see the good in things. First, it gave me a good workout. Second, the people were great, so I managed to develop some good relationships.
Ultimately though, I was working for someone else, so the only thing that mattered to them was their bottom line - not me. It wasn't too long after that I truly realized this to be the case. I don't like to sound self-important, and I definitely don't like to brag, but one thing was clear - I was always on time and I always got the job done.
In fact, I even put in some free hours of work for the company, but that didn't stop the inevitable from happening. It was a typical work day, and accordingly, I got ready for work. So, I finally show up, and waiting for my arrival was my supervisor. He told me, "Matthew, can you come here, I need to talk to you." Of course, I knew this couldn't be good.
So essentially, I was "let off the hook." Yes, I was fired. Looking back, I probably should have asked questions, but the reality is that all I did was listen to everything my supervisor told me, and then nodded my head in agreeing to me being fired. The funny thing is, I wasn't given a reason as to why I was fired. That really told me that I meant nothing to this company, especially compared to their bottom line...

I used to work for a retailer, and while I won't mention names, I have to say that I wasn't exactly being treated as royalty. Obviously, I don't actually mean "royalty", but I do mean at least some respect. These "people", specifically my boss, needed to lighten up. They have to realize that their employees are actually people with actual lives, not some rag dolls that you can do whatever you want with. Anyways, I see where your coming from with your post.
